Google Skipfish scans Web apps for security

Google Skipfish scans Web apps for security

Google has released an open-source Web security scanner called Skipfish that is designed to allow people to scan Web applications for security holes.

The tool scans a Web application for flaws including "tricky scenarios" such as blind SQL or XML injection, Google developer Michal Zalewski said in the Skipfish wiki.

Skipfish prepares a site map annotated with interactive crawl results, highlighting flaws, after a recursive crawl and dictionary-based probing of the target site. The tool can also generate a final report that can be used as a basis for a security assessment.

Look after your website domain name

Look after your website domain name

If you don't renew your .uk every two-years, it will become available for anyone to register.

If you register your domain name through ISIMO we will ensure that this never happens and that your website and email continues to operate uniterrupted.

What happens if my domain name expires?

• Your customers won’t know where to find your website anymore. This means no more access to the information you provide about your company online on your website, your customers won't know where to shop, and all that brand equity you’ve built up will be undermined.

* easy to find;
* easy to license; and
* easy to re-use.
